..a saga of 100 years....
A hundred years ago, the British Monarch King George chose a few village of Delhi to make him self emperor of India, and lead the foundation of what it is now-'New Delhi'.
In next 36 years the legacy of British empire were all gone and what left behind is DILLI with no. of decades and ideas to grow.
The Viceroy's residence now Rastrapati Bhavan, the signature circular structure of Parliament house then called Council House. The majestic India Gate all were built before India became Independent.
Chawari Bajar, Chandni Chowk, Red Fort and Canought Place brings the memory of Mugal and British Milieu. As the time passes Delhi spread its territory-by merging the no. of villages around it self-as a planned city. Now these villages posses the most expensive properties now a days. With wide road, Delhi Metro, Nice Infrastructure and zealous youth like feather in the cap.
As the people coming down across the Nation, Delhi is moving towards a new era. Here in Delhi nothing is permanent except 'CHANGES' which starts long back in 1911 and still continue...
Delhi
1911-on wards
